We want to hear from you. MPLAN is built in conversation with its readers, and the best issues usually begin with an email from someone we haven't met yet: a paragraph, a rough photograph, a scan of a sketchbook page.

Send us your ideas about cities. The street you pass every morning, the staircase that never quite works, the shop that closed last year, the block you think about from the bus. Half-formed thoughts are welcome. So are drawings, diagrams, field notes and writing you are not yet sure what to do with.

If you are a writer, photographer, architect, student, or simply a careful observer of where you live, please get in touch. We read everything. We reply slowly but we always reply. Let's start a conversation.

What to send

A short note about yourself, a sentence or two on the idea, and any rough material you're happy to share: sketches, photos, links. No finished piece required. If it's long, we'll ask for more.

Commissions & Collaborations

We work with studios, institutions and independent practices on special issues, inserts and editorial projects. Tell us what you have in mind and how you'd like to begin.

Stockists & Distribution

Bookshops and galleries interested in carrying MPLAN, or readers asking whether we ship to their city: please write to the general address above and we'll route it.

Response time

We read every message. Replies usually take one to three weeks, longer around issue release. Thank you for your patience, and for writing.
