MPLAN Magazine is an independent publication working at the intersection of urbanism, architecture and everyday life. Based in London and emerging from the Bartlett School of Planning, MPLAN began in 2026 as a slow, reader-first magazine about the ideas, sketches and small decisions that shape our cities.

The magazine is guided by curiosity rather than categories. Issues move between visual essays, field notes, speculative ideas, critiques, archival material and new commissions, always with the same attention to craft and clarity. MPLAN is not an authority; it is a conversation, edited on paper and continued online.

Alongside the print edition, MPLAN organises book launch parties and occasional workshops with contributors. We believe that a magazine is a place as much as a thing, and we care about keeping both open.
